Omega seed mix

The best way to add omegas to your diet is to keep a seed mix ready mixed on hand to throw over salads, cereals, oats, and even into smoothies! 


I regularly add seeds to baking, but I wanted something that I could add to cereals and salads. Making the mix in advance is so handy, and it’s right there, just waiting to be used! When added to salads it adds a dash of Colour and crunch! 

I mixed: 

1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/4cup sesame seeds

A handful of poppy seeds

3 T linseeds 

1/2 cup slivered almonds

Mix together and store in an air tight container, ready to use as needed! 

I prefer keeping chia seeds separate. I love the natures source range of seeds, but if you prefer they have a ready mixed seed combo that you can buy!
