you are what you eat

A whole fruit/ fruit juice?

Whether you are living with diabetes or just trying to lose weight, portion sizes are always a problem!
Often during a consultation I will talk about eating a whole fruit which contain vitamins, minerals and fibre, as opposed to having a glass of juice. But, I love this video as it actually demonstrates the actual portion size of a whole fruit, as opposed to a glass of fruit juice.
I know most fruit juices say ‘no added sugar’ but they are sweetened with pear/ apple or grape juice and the body will metabolize fruit sugar in the same way as table sugar.
